About Me

My photo
The photography team uses photography as a tool to enhance the multi-media ministries of the Berean SDA Church as it offers others a meaningful glimpse into the church’s character. Our Purpose is to use the creative avenue of photography to serve God by ministering to the church and individuals. Church Coverage Photography: The main goal of the Photography Ministry is to support the various ministries of Berean by taking pictures for people to enjoy. If a picture is worth a thousand words then Berean has a lot to say! The members of the photography team document the many events and activities the church puts together. We provide a visual history of where Berean has been. The pictures are available for everyone in the church to enjoy. The team's creative images are posted on Flickr.com, used in videos, on the website, Facebook and in printed materials.

This Is My Story...

ARNELL "PATIENCE" MCCOY

I was born & raised in Atlanta,Ga to a loving SDA Family. As far back as I can remember I have always loved anything that had to do with the arts..music, photography, drawing etc. As I grew older my love for music out grew all the rest and I found myself writing songs on a daily basis. I got serious and decided I wanted to be a rapper in high school.

I teamed up with a few other guys at my school who shared the same desire and we formed a group called the N.O.C.C.A.S.(No Other Click Can Approach SouthSide). We became very popular in the Atlanta area and had a few major labels looking to sign us. Even though I turned my back on my christian beliefs and joined this group that glorified cars, clothes, money, & sex- for some reason I never let go of the Sabbath. Looking back on it now I know it was the Holy Spirit because the night we were suppose to go and perform for the label reps was a Friday night. When I refused to go the true colors of my group mates came out and God was able to show me how Satan was using me. After that night I quit the group, repented of my sins and put down music all together. I was convinced that Rap was Designed to glorify Satan, until God revealed to me that every talent given to us should be used for His glory alone!

A couple of years later after much prayer I released my first Christian Rap CD entitled Lyrical Lessons Vol 1. To my surprise the response was extremely positive from parents who were glad to see a young man using Rap music to glorify God! From that day forward I went full throttle into ministry! God has blessed me to record 4 Cd's, travel the USA, Canada and open up for many major recording artist such as J-Moss, Dettrick Hadden, Canton Jones & more!

To God Be The Glory!

The 2011 Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar will be held Dec. 2-3 at the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North, 7 Concourse Parkway, Atlanta, GA.
The Seminar was founded in 1973 by a group of photojournalists representing newspapers, magazines and wire services. We seek to promote the highest standards of photojournalism through an annual educational conference and a photography contest judged by working photographers.
