About Me

My photo
The photography team uses photography as a tool to enhance the multi-media ministries of the Berean SDA Church as it offers others a meaningful glimpse into the church’s character. Our Purpose is to use the creative avenue of photography to serve God by ministering to the church and individuals. Church Coverage Photography: The main goal of the Photography Ministry is to support the various ministries of Berean by taking pictures for people to enjoy. If a picture is worth a thousand words then Berean has a lot to say! The members of the photography team document the many events and activities the church puts together. We provide a visual history of where Berean has been. The pictures are available for everyone in the church to enjoy. The team's creative images are posted on Flickr.com, used in videos, on the website, Facebook and in printed materials.

Post-Production Work Flow - The Essentials Pros Use to add the finishing touches to their work...

Article shared by: MARK LEE

This article summarizes the most important steps to incorporate into your digital photo editing workflow (aka "post-processing workflow"). It isn't necessarily a procedure that you'll want to implement with all of your photos, but whenever you want to get that "keeper" looking just right, these steps can make all the difference. See the link below for more details.

Each is listed roughly in the order that they should be applied:
White Balance - temperature and tint adjustment sliders
Exposure - exposure compensation, highlight/shadow recovery
Noise Reduction - during RAW development or using external software
Lens Corrections - distortion, vignetting, chromatic aberrations
Detail - capture sharpening and local contrast enhancement
Contrast - black point, levels and curves tools
Framing - straighten and crop
Refinements - color adjustments and selective enhancments
Resizing - enlarge for a print or downsize for the web or email
Output Sharpening - customized for your subject matter and print/screen size
